i'm optimistic our defense can win us a few games, the glass is half empty at least, on offense though. its going to be a long season, but hopefully with such low expectations the planet won't implode when we lose to houston.

That's typical for us, but if the season goes in the crapper this year, i think it stays there. Herm would have no choice but to start Brodie by the halfway point, and then we'd go through his growing pains too.

This defense isn't anything more than a slightly above average defense... at best. This isn't a defense that can win games on its own and overcome a horrible offense like the Chiefs' defenses of the mid-1990's could.
