Reminder for the doom and gloom crowd
 

The 2015 Chiefs with Alex Smith started 1-5. We went on to win 11 games that year.

The 2021 Chiefs had bad WR problems like we are seeing now. Started 3-4. We ended up 12-5 and hosted the Championship game.

Long season fellas. This staff will figure it out and we'll be fine.

People are disappointed our coaches don't seem to see the game the same way.

-CEH is cursed, and giving him the ball dooms a drive (Miss me with the 4 yard per carry shit)

-Toney gets a half pass because of punt return in Super Bowl, but why are we rushing him back?

-Skyy just doesn't have "it" stop forcing it

- 3rd and short is EMBARRASSING for this ****ing team, how this issue isn't fixed is constant pain.

- Why the **** are we not feeding Pop?

It just feels like we are a reactionary team with our Roster and its going to catch up with us in a bad way.

This means the world to Detroit, be charitable to the long suffering. It was their night

The fundamental question is:

Do we have a WR group that is good enough but is not performing?

Or is the WR group not good enough?

Time will tell, but day 2 rookie WRs don't usually become impact players right out of the gate so for this year we're most likely relying on Toney, MVS, Moore to be good enough.

I have a friend who is a big Lions fan (odd, I know, but he's from Michigan so...) he texted me after the game saying "If just one of those drops were caught, you guys win that game". He gets it.

It was a bad night. Chiefs seem to do that shit once, sometimes twice a year. Colts last year anyone?

We'll be fine. Toney is NOT this bad ever. Hopefully he just got a whole season of shitty play out of the way last night.

I think Toney bounces back. I agree he's not this bad. He'll be up and down but he'll give us some great performances. We need to see more of Rice.
