Well, I'm officially a mom!
 

Thursday, at my OB appointment, I discovered that I had pre-eclampsia, which is not good. Friday, I found out that it was bad enough that I was to be induced on Saturday. So, my little man came into the world a little over three weeks early.

Saturday, at 7:30am, the induction started. At 1:16 Sunday morning, he finally entered the world. Needless to say, it was a very long day, but totally worth it.

Isaac Louis was born at 1:16am on March 6, 2016 weighing in at 6 lbs 3 oz and measuring 19 inches long. Spent some time in the nursery getting his blood sugar level up and stable, as well as monitoring his lungs. All is well, except for a little jaundice, which we're hoping clears up in a few days. Both momma and baby are doing well. :)

Awesome, but wait...i thought you already were officially a mother. Guess i wasn't paying attention...in some thread somewhere, i probably congratulated you for something else by mistake.

Enjoy it, because they will turn in to snotty teenagers before you know it.
