And some states entirely to save money.. 155 stores nation wide closing down..

Good news for you guys, the stores are going liquidation so hellified deals this month and next while they are open..

Bad news is 7000+ plus will be looking for new jobs..

I was mad when they closed their store here a few years ago. I wish we had better electronics store choices than Best Buy.

Doesn't surprise me. Whenever I drive past the store in Liberty, the parking lot is always empty.

I ****ing hate Best Buy. CC isn't great, but at least they aren't the pushy dickbags that the BB salesforce is.

DO you know about the store in Coumbia? Is it probably going to close as well or just the KC area stores?

We have Circuit City, Best Buy and HH Gregg in my town. I was recently shopping for a new widescreen. HH Gregg has the best staff by far, Best Buy had the best prices and Circuit City had nothing. I ended up buying from Best Buy. Their staff isn't as good as HH Gregg but the price I paid for my 37" widescreen was $100 less than Circuit City and HH Gregg.

Eh, I bought a couple of off the shelf items and feel I got pretty good deals.

Yeah, but I have never been a big fan of the shelf sales. You never know what you are going to end up with after everybody had handled it.

I may never buy another piece of electronics in a brick and mortar.
The only time they have competitive prices is Black Friday.
