anyone live close by? that shit is crazy. I been watching it on the news the last half an hour. just wow.

I live in Norman...I think we got 7 inches of rain last night. Pretty crazy how the weather system developed. It's a meteorologist's wet dream.

Thats just a freaking nightmare to have. All the work people put into their lives to have things just taken away like that.

It is unfortunate for them. I haven't seen what's going on, but heard it's not very good.

You know the saying about oklahoma if you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes

I live in Duncan about 70 miles SW of OK City. We got 8 inches here. It was crazy watching it roll thru on radar. It kept swirling over and over like a hurricane. We were in a tornado warning for a while. It felt weird taking precautions like that in the middle of August.

The remnants of Erin basically gathered strength to, according to wind speed, become a tropical storm again...3 days after landfall on the Texas coast.

We got a nice light and sound show the other night...and not a drop of rain.

I have been in 2 Hurricanes while I lived in FL. Hurricane Erin and Opal...

Pretty much how our whole summer has been. Denver seems to be getting quite a bit of rain lately. But here in Scottsbluff the rain always goes around us and then dumps further east. :(
