Hey, it's okay by me if people want to rationalize keeping Pioli or having him do contracts or fetch drinks during coaching interviews. It's a free world and I respect both freedom and worlds.
As for me, however, I have seen absolutely nothing from Scott Pioli that suggests to me that he brings any value whatsoever to the table. He can't draft, he can't maintain a positive organization, he can't pick coaches, he can't evaluate talent, he can't motivate people, and he probably can't wipe his own ass without blaming someone else for his difficulty in reaching between his enormous, flabby buttocks.
I can understand why Clark would hesitate in taking it on the chin over several tens of millions of dollars (assuming Pioli signed an extension). But I cannot understand why anybody with a properly functioning brain could find any redeeming qualities in that historically incompetent butt-mole of a GM.
