Daniels has shown exactly nothing in 4 years. Nothing.

Outside of being short, I'm not seeing the outrage towards Daniel. He's a highly accurate QB that could fill in for a pinch. Most of the league is done when their starter goes down anyway.

Give me a ****ing break.

Tyler Bray can and WILL take his number 2 spot, and sooner rather than later, I guarantee.

Most #2 QBs are in that position because they perform at mere acceptable levels during preseason, and you think its a joke that he's #2 because he excels in preseason games? I'm pretty sure I'd rather have a #2 QB who excels, even if it is against #2 & #3 defenses, than someone who just "hangs in there".

With that being said, and even though I am a Mizzou homer, I really do hope Bray flourishes and eventually overtakes #2 AND #1 spots. But I have no reason to believe that as of yet.

The dude sucks and is overpaid. If the backup QB position mattered at all, he'd be another Matt Cassel that we'd have to deal with. It's just an all-around bad situation, where a guy's contract will likely elevate him over somebody with more talent who absolutely deserves the better roster position far more.

What's it gonna take for you to get some sense on this? I almost wish Alex would go down for a few games just so you could see how terrible of a spot we'd be in if Daniel had to fill in.

LMAO I so love interacting with all you armchair dickbag know-it-alls.

here's my bold prediction on kc's QB situation: Bray will definitely make the final roster as the #3 QB, even if he outplays every other QB on the roster, including Smith. Kc is tied to Smith for at least the 2013 season and possible for the next 2 seasons. The reason I'm predicting Bray will be the #3 QB is because IF Smith goes down with an injury, this will allow kc to keep Bray on the bench while the #2 QB fills in. In other words, it's a way of protecting Bray.

If kc doesn't draft another QB then I predict Bray will be the starting kc QB in 2-3 years.

He's a more intriguing talent than Assweiler...At least we have that.

Tyler Bray was the most impressive QB at camp today. Clean throws and showing off his big arm. Did have a few near picks, but none were caught. Ricky Stanzi has become an after thought at practice. The writing is on the wall for the former Hawkeye.

No practice on Wednesday, so we will see you in St Joe on Thursday morning.

I can see that many people dont like Daniel, for whatever reason. Whether its where he played college ball or he is under sized. I think we shouldnt forget that he won and earned the backup spot to arguably the best QB in football and was chosen by some the the best QB coaches to have that spot. They trusted him with Brees's offense. He was undrafted (like Bray) and earned his spot on the Saints best teams 09-10. To say he is terrible is a little off base. In his time to get some football on tape, he has played well and showed he belongs. Bray obviously has the more conventional tools, but lets be honest. He is garbage, dude could break a hammer and you do not want him for your QB! He has and always will be a headcase who breaks down when needed most. Its what he was known for at Tennessee.
