The dude sucks and is overpaid. If the backup QB position mattered at all, he'd be another Matt Cassel that we'd have to deal with. It's just an all-around bad situation, where a guy's contract will likely elevate him over somebody with more talent who absolutely deserves the better roster position far more.

What's it gonna take for you to get some sense on this? I almost wish Alex would go down for a few games just so you could see how terrible of a spot we'd be in if Daniel had to fill in.
