I don't want anything to do with Andy Reid but if they are going to spend 9 hours with the guy I would hope they get him signed, sealed and delivered.

His agent is there. Maybe that's what they're doing.

Here's why people shouldn't worry about the fact that Pioli is in attendance:

If you are serious about possibly moving to contract negotiations, you probably better have your GM there. Clark can lead with Pioli providing whatever support is needed.

Pioli is still the GM. It would be absurd to not even involve him in a coaching search. If Clark is driving the hire, he should have the confidence that he can have Pioli sit in meetings and help answer questions, maybe even ask a few good/relevant ones. It's up to Clark to sniff out any Pioli B.S.

Maybe i'm under reacting, but if we get Reid and he is the de-facto GM and Pioli is just a douchebag getting paid 6MM to run the business side of things, then i just dont give a shit. Bring him to the meetings, have him serve Reid BBQ, but dont let him make one goddamn move with the personnel, roster management, coaching staff or draft and its A-OK as me.

Rename Pioli's job title to Executive Operation Dickbag on paper, hire Reid and call it a ****ing day.
