Looked like a dbag.

Their client roster is, to be charitable, unimpressive. No wonder he’s (probably) advising Jones to hold out for the bag. Gotta make that 3%.

Professionals with thin clientele tend to hump the shit out of ones they have.

Yeppers. But in addition to the 3% (or whatever it may be), getting a mega contract for Jones would be a huge recruiting tool going forward. If they get CJ more money than AD, that will be the first and last thing mentioned in every conversation with every potential client in the foreseeable future. They do not care where CJ signs, as long as he gets paid. That’s the life of an agent. I wonder what Brian Waters is up to?

Bears Defense looks pretty good. i'd say they're about 1 player away from being a top 15 D

If Jones took 27 million and invested in TSLY at 15/share , an .83 dividend would make him 1,494,000 per month in dividends.

After 12 months he'd have $44,928,000

And that doesn't include the compounding interest affect if he would DRIP his shares.

He needs a new agent and financial advisor.

It's not that simple. If you sign Jones for $31 mill a year, it is hard to keep good young talent around him. If he defies the odds(and if anyone can, I think it would be him) and continues to play at a high level, it would be money well spent, but if he doesn't and becomes like 75% of those over 30 who decline quickly, it handicaps us greatly. Veach knows this, and its painful to make these choices, but he is mostly likely giving Jones a fair deal ($26-$27m/$70mil guaranteed) and he won't move from that... It's up to Jones to decide how this moves forward. It should be an easy decision for him, but pride seems to be getting in the way.

Except chop that in half thanks to Uncle Sam...

Jones is taking bad advice. He's holding out and will get less money next year from another team.

A player misses all of training camp/preseason, gets injured when they return for the start of the regular season due to not being in optimal football condition... a common scenario that will likely happen to Chris Jones the longer he holds out, which only hurts his chances to capitalize on having a big season.

That why it makes no sense to risk $65 - $75 million guranteed.

Pretty confident that any FA recommending TSLY in this instance would be fired and likely banned from the industry.

Man or woman?

How do you know someone is legit when you have no idea who they are?

ESPN puts a ton of content out there and there's nothing like this online as far as I can tell. Strongly think you're mistaken.

Sorry but I’d been drinking and was at a bar. I’m not posting it as inside info or some BS like that. Take it as is or write it off as a drunk remembering shit wrong. The truth is going to become known soon. Shit like this always leaks.

Then it’s clearly not accurate.

I am glad Jones is putting out vague tweets instead of spilling his guts and creating an ugly situation like many do.

His hold out isn’t ugly enough???

That new Nick Cage movie is pretty good nothing spectacular but not a bad rainy day movie watch.
