Wiggins may or may not be traded. But if you think Love gets you closer to a trophy, you pull the trigger. Love is flawed, but he's a damn good player. Wiggins could be an all star or he could be Ben McLemore. In Waiters first year, you proclaimed him to be a future star. He probably isn't ever going to become an all star. You just don't know when a guy has never played in the league. You know you're getting 25 and 13 from Love.

In terms of defining your team's future, Love is only 25. If he signs a long term deal, would he not also be part of the future?

We were never arguing if the Cavs would or would not trade Wiggins, you moron.

You came in acting like you were entitled to Kevin Love for chump change, not even considering the fact that a team like Chicago may want to pony up an offer to compete with the Cavs in the East.

The Wolves aren't desperate. They're not trading him to your miserable ****ing team for Waiters and a wad of cum, and they're not going to let him walk in free agency for no money next year. There are other options besides the Cleveland ****ing Cavaliers and your shitty ****ing role players you have to offer if Wiggins is not on the table.

Bosh and Parsons to Rockets is inevitable at this point

Jesus Christ Rust, how the **** did you manage to make everybody hate you when most of us agreed that the Cavs were his best landing spot?

Chicago and Boston could put together compelling offers, among others.

I don't know about Chicago but Ainge has been trying like hell to get Love and the Celtics really have nothing Minnesota wants outside of draft picks.

I will add I will be quite surprised if the Wolves trade Love without getting Wiggins in return.

I WANT to believe that OKC is committed to doing everything in their power to win; it certainly doesn't look that way. See: trading Harden, trading FOR Perk, re-signing Perk, signing Bulter, keeping Brooks, etc. Does a team that wants to win a Championship make THOSE moves?

You make several good points that Okcchief fails to see because he has turned into a blind homer. It didnt used to be that way, but one can certainly see the shift by reading his posts from the 2014 season to now.

I'd keep Waiters as a 6th man/instant offense type to carry the second unit and jettison Irving.

I think you're being way too harsh on irving.

Irving is an elite talent and high character guy with immaturity issues. Waiters is pretty good talent with a little more history with character issues and I don't think he's that well liked in the locker room.

I'd take Kylie every time. Especially given that he's 22 and will probably get much better coaching and leadership miles better than anything he's ever had.

Boris Diaw and Matt Bonner are adequate compensation IMO. Love would be a great Spur. :D

Let me guess... he'll come off the bench to spell Tim Duncan until he retires?

Lin to Lakers a done deal. Houston also sends them their 2015 1st round pick

Looks like the Wolves are still stuck on getting Thompson from the Warriors.
