Ask Prison Bitch. He's up on everything Missouri.

I've been around.

Just looking for insider info on who is going to be the next HC at Texas.

I expected the game at the Sprint Center to feel like an away game based on what Kansas fans told me about Kansas City...but nope. It was packed with Mizzou fans just like I remembered it from the last game we played there as a Big 12 team.

Judging by the fact that Kansas is 0-2 on the road, maybe you guys should avoid leaving home as well.

Kansas is still a better basketball team/program than Missouri.

But when that's literally all you have - when 8 months out of the year are simply 'wait for basketball season' - you should probably be better than this.

I'm not going to run KU basketball smack - this is, afterall, the 4 months of the year when the buckled beaks are relevant. I can't help but wonder why they'll continue to insist on running football smack come spring, however...

Honest IMO answer -

Now that they've effectively been spurned by Saban, I imagine they will throw a Brinks truck at a "name guy". There's way too much talent at Texas for a coach with even a modicum of coaching ability to not succeed there.

And Missouri is going to go undefeated this year.

Right...?

True. Kansas is still a couple spots ahead of Mizzou in the rankings. Their fans have been waiting all year for this, and the casual Mizzou fan is barely aware that the basketball team plays before the end of football season.

I don't think anyone but you has said that.

I have a feeling they may be targeting someone from the NFL...so I think they are going to take there time in the search now that Saban isn't an option [if he ever was one]. I am not sure how they can sit around and wait for an NFL coach though, when there is recruiting to be done....

I'm pretty sure I just said that we probably wouldn't. Was there something about that statement that led you to the exact opposite conclusion?

Missouri is ranked?

Agreed.

But in the sake of fairness, it's really only two KU fans that run football smack, and those two are basically outcasts to the other KU fans around here.
