I think Dane is an interesting guy and everything, and it's great that he's done well for himself. I bet if you met him in person he'd be a very cool guy. He seems like he has a lot of wisdom and interesting life experiences. But, there's a guy that posts like him on every message board. With the constant, "That's why you're a dumbass" to people. It's not offensive to me because it hurts people's feelings or something. I don't think I've ever actually had much interaction with him. I just think it's such a tired message-boardy kind of way to post. Every board has a guy that does the "Die in a fire, asshat." routine. It's almost a caricature. It sort of surprises me that he does it so much. It's kind of trite.

Uhm, I dont think so. There are plenty of people here who wouldn't be blasting him if he had stuck up for himself, me being one of them.

I dont have a particular problem with Dane, I would never want him to leave, he is a personality in a room full of personalities, but lets not kid ourselves, his persona on here was a complete douche bag at the same time.

If he had a reasonable explanation as to why he was unhappy, many more would've sympathized with him.

But the original story that we all got......that's grounds for being blasted, because that's BS on his part and just makes him look like a coward.
