What’s funny about this is that Burrow was very clearly down on that play and it never should have been a touchdown. So he got a call he shouldn’t have trying to make a play he wasn’t good enough to make…yet this absolute goober holds it up as some sort of example of Mahomes getting calls and Burrow making the same plays as Mahomes. Just an absolutely fantastic self-own!

Very astute point, and on a rewatch you’re correct. I thought a Browns player had tripped him up but was his own lineman. That said, crying that your guy isn’t getting enough love for that play when he makes it in week 17 while virtually eliminated from the playoffs against the Browns as compared to Mahomes in the divisional against the best defense left in the playoffs on a waaaaaay higher degree of difficulty throw is the definition of being an beta cuck. It’s why the bengals and their fans are who they are. Just gutless.

It's one thing to bitch about the refs. Everyone does that from time to time. It's another to try and dismiss the dominance of one of the greatest dynasties this league has ever seen because they have a call or two go their way. TJ was obviously in his feels and, like you I think, feels the career of Burrow being wasted by an incompetent franchise that is getting smothered by the Chiefs. I understand. The part that cracked me up was the "rise of Troy Blackburn" and how he was brought in, not being a member of the Brown bloodline.

It may not be out and out nepotism, but it was definitely nepotism by proxy.
