We're going to be talking about a 17-game sample size of Justin Watson being this team's leading receiver when it's all said and done.

That's like Frank Clark getting more sacks than Chris Jones over the course of an entire season.

Not sure why people don't believe Watson is Mahomes favorite downfield target at this point. MVS draws coverage sometimes, but he's not getting doubled every play with Kelce on the field.

Rice, Ross, and Toney are going to be the trio, I think. Sooner than later.

It's just real bad analysis.

It's okay. He's gone. The bad man can't hurt us anymore.

Hopefully Ross doesn't drop any more balls that hit him right in the hands. Those two were tough. Bowe would do that too, make the crazy circus highlight catch and the drop two easy ones. He's going to be fine, I just hope he cleans it up soon.

It’s not specific to us… football fans in general. But it is extremely difficult to be out of the game for so long, and to be thrown into the fire. All while trying to impress. He’s never had a problem with drops, and is probably just trying to do too much atm.

Ja’Marr Chase took a year off, and couldn’t catch shit in his rookie preseason
Toney missed all of preseason/training camp and dropped everything week 1
Etc etc

Can Mahomes pepper him any more than he does?

Seems like Rice gets a high target share on limited snaps.

IMHO as long as Andy keeps doing the WRBC, and he says he intends to keep going that way, we will never see guys get into a rhythm in game and find out what they're truly capable of.

Disagree. Frank Clark is once again doing nothing during the regular season. You can no longer say it's a fluke. He has a history of doing nothing during the regular season. And the only logical conclusion is he's saving himself for the Denver playoff run.

Classic Clark. Miss that guy.

Their playoff run is going to be epic.

Needs to be... Watson and MVS will be heard from as well, but Andy needs to pick and choose their spots. Skyy should be last man up and dont expect much.

It's going to need to be one of Watson and MVS alongside Rice and Toney. You're going to need someone to run deep fairly regularly.

Well, and both are vets. They're not going to have three receivers on a snap that they're unsure of. The younguns have higher ceilings but unknown floors.
