Jim Buss and Kobe destroying the Lakers piece by piece.

I don't expect Minnesota to take that. I just don't see the point in the cavs packaging Wiggins, an inexpensive option, for Kevin love... A max contract guy who won't play defense. I'd rather spent it on veterans to round out experience and depth, especially knowing that the cavs are probably a year or two away... Even with love.

Kevin Love is a lot like Dirk. He needs a dominant rim protector at the 5 or someone like Lebron James who will do it all. And he needs to be in the right system. He'll have that in Lebron and (potentially) in his coach if Blatt is as good as everybody says he is.

As much as I hate JIMMY, Lin is an expiring and it would include a 1st rounder

Not surprising. Ray Allen will also probably be a Cav

Melo narrow his choice to Knicks or Bulls not considering Lakers.

@SportsCenter: Cavs have opened trade talks for Kevin Love by offering Dion Waiters, Anthony Bennett & 1st-round pick to T-Wolves.

Melo's a paycheck player. Always has been; always will be.

Chris Broussard is reporting from multiple sources that there's now an 82% chance LeBron is going to Cleveland.

That's like 8 cents on the dollar for Love.

If the Cavs want love they are going to have to give up Wiggins or Irving. I'd offer Irving, Tristan Thompson, and a first for Love.

Wiggins is much more valuable to Cleveland right now than Irving.

I'm just not big on three max contracts when you get a guy like Wiggins at half the cost. LeBron and whomever plays center would be the only two who play defense. And you have four offensive guys with Kyrie and waiters fighting for touches. Just think with Wiggins playing good defense and probably starting off as a system passer, he makes more sense than love, and most importantly using picks and available cap space to round out the roster... That feels like a better formula than trading the moon for Kevin love. Maybe that's just me.

Waiters and Bennett top reserves.

Will be interesting to see if Love is traded, but it won't be for Wiggins if he is.

Then it won't happen. I'd trade Wiggins and a future 1 for Love in a heartbeat. You'd need to add another shooter (Allen or Miller) and a defensive presence inside, but that's a championship caliber team.
