It stands for Police Officer Standardized Testing, but it's like testing out of an Acadamy because of an acadamy and work experience in another state.

I didn't know about it and was only appling for jobs that would send someone to the acadamy, took the test and got certified in Dec. and now can be hired anywhere because I have an active MO certification.

I don't know, maybe there is a similiar program for firefighters??
