Pretty unbelievable Goodell couldn't make the obvious declaration.

My guess is, they were secretly hoping the teams would announce they wanted to finish the game.

I can’t imagine the nfl told them it’s fine to leave we already have a reschedule set up. This seems premature by them if true.

So what in the world are they going to do?

Good for them. Tell Roger to suck a dick.

Short flight 60 minutes tops. May have been easier than other logistics.

I would also think some wanted to stay and support him at the hospital?
Hard to speculate on this.

He's got to ****ing go.

I mean, not just because of this, but his "leadership" has been ****ing terrible all along. This is just the last ****ing straw.

True. Finding them all accommodations together.

Still makes it seem doubtful that this game will be played tomorrow.

Eh,

I would imagine logistically this is the right option. They didn't have hotels booked, and it's not like you can just show up to the local Holiday Inn Express and get rooms for 200 people. They'll fly back tomorrow morning if need be

Why? They still had to win at least one game in weeks 17 and 18 in order to secure the 1 seed. If both Buffalo and KC win in Week 18, the NFL can figure out a way to intervene so it's not just winning percentage that determines the seeding or whatever.

Someone brought up a coin toss earlier. I mean, that might be the way to go. I'm not saying that's what they're going to do, because it's very very unlikely that will be the action that takes place, but it's what I would do.

Yep. Didn’t even think of that.

Well that's interesting. They wouldn't do that without the NFL giving the go ahead.

Yep and they can't stay at any old hotel. NFLPA I think it has to be a 4 star or higher.
