I think it has less to do with the amount of cap space that we have and more to do with how much other teams (with way more cap space) are going to overpay.

If you read or listened to Veach he said they reviewed the second half of titans game and figured out the weaknesses.


I think one thing they saw was when kelcie went down the only other real receiving threat was hill. Why not get Pat one more weapon make this O elite.


Draft and get later young free agents for the D. Let the D grow and become better as the season goes on and by playoff push they will have experience. Let Houston and Berry be the leaders of the D teaching the young kids and pushing them. I love these ideas if they really come true.

Gotta think, even if a guy is a good player, theres a reason he's hitting free agency. Sometimes it's just money, but more likely theres some flaws or shit that is going on.

I'd love them to be able to sign a badass CB and DL. But that doesn't seem optimal right now.

So go cheaper and hit some mid tier guys on D and build a young fast cheap d.

I'm curious to see how Jordan Mathews' market develops. I think i'd rather take a cheap flyer on him than overpay for Watkins.
