They could easily beat the Bills. Most teams haven't had a great deal of success with the contain rush against Allen. I think that's really why Allen's had so much time and so few turnovers. I'd almost just attack the guy and make sure that when he gets past the LOS, you make him feel it. Force him out of the comfort zone he's been in all season where contain rushing has given him all day to pick and choose what he wants to do. His clock just hasn't been dialed up enough at any point this year -- make him prove he still has it. I'm not even sure I'd spy him. I'd just make him feel every one of those carries and see how long he wants to keep getting hit. Don't try to win this thing in the 1st half - make him sit in there at halftime and head back into that cold-ass stadium with the bruises from the 6-8 times he started feeling froggy in the first half. He's a big guy but there's only one of him and 11 of you. Spread the load and bury his ass. If he's even the slightest bit tentative at any point in that game, Buffalo loses. |
Has Watson been officially activated yet?

Deon Bush with his always elevated for the playoffs role.

I just want to see Jones, or Chenal, or Bolton, or Reid, or anyone get a clean but brutally hard hit on Allen when he decides to tuck and run. I want him to feel the consequences. It never seems to happen though. Dude is as elusive as the Loch Ness Monster.

Coincidentally, my boner was officially activated 3 seconds after I heard that Jaylen was officially activated. |

What a goddamn baller this dude is. Pretty sure he played just about every snap and locked it the hell down.
Kid is a freaking stud. Him and McDuffie make a disgusting duo. |
Still seemed like too 13 and 27 out there

Jaylen Watson played total 40 snaps with 25 coverage snaps in his return from injury
His coverage stats vs the Texans: 50 comp % allowed 1 catch allowed 8 yards allowed 1 PBU 60.4 passer rating allowed |

The only concern from the last few games has been the third down efficiency. If the Chiefs can turn the screws on that part of their game they will give up 10 points. Rewatching the last game we would have won if the turnovers don’t happen so play clean on offense and tighten up the third down defense and we win a game that looks like last year’s playoff game. |
Bryan Cook looks rough out there. Reid has been iffy as well. Need them to up their games. Reid is a free agent too, I’d rather keep him though than Cook. Hicks should be the other

Cook, Reid and Hicks are all effectively the same player. There are variations on the theme but all three of them are more akin to conventional strong safeties. I really wish we'd have tried to find a true single-high sort of player over the last couple years. We can make this work, but it's not a weakness we can just close off, IMO. We simply lack the personnel to effectively shut down the middle of the field. The 'backers aren't good enough in space and the safeties have coverage limitations. It's going to continue to be a problem because we just don't have the athleticism to ensure that it isn't. |

I was wondering where the 245+ yards came from if Trent and Watson locked down. Who was it they targeted? Was it cook? |

He’s such a ****ing dawg. It’s incredible. From flipping burgers at Wendy’s, to getting taken in the 7th as a throwaway pick to locking down receivers against elite teams in Championship Games.
I hope him and McDuffie are ready for the Super Bowl because they’ll be inportant in clamping AJ Brown and Devonta Smith. |
I think the return of Brown and Jaylen and the addition of DHOP/Hunt is what put us over the top.
