Not ideal info, but probably the right decision.

Which WR goes off?

Skyy or Toney?

Neither.

Bro what?

He was reported to have no swelling or pain. Only real issue to worry about would be for it to swell again and there are extra rest days.

A normal game week I wouldn't have risked it.

Man I'm really anticipating him to get force fed carries/touches at some point.

And I will puke when we do.

CatinKS 09-07-2023 04:35 PM

Makes you wonder if you asked Patrick and Trav how much practice is required for Trav during in season, what would they say? Will the Chiefs practice Trav less going forward due to his age? The guy I believe could show up and put on pads, and not miss much unless the scheme changes per team. At least he does just walk through going forward.

Going forward, will you please say Travis rather than Trav?

I kinda feel like the plan is to wear him out the first month of the season and ease Pacheco back into it. So have your barf bucket handy.

He didn't get hurt because of his age. This isn't some kind of degenerative condition or an overuse injury. It happened because he landed funny. It could happen to anyone at any age.

Seems like a lock he gets a carry on the first play of the game.

So what. It’s a long season. No need to jeopardize the season

This is where Im out. We're about to find out how good are wide receivers really are. I think Kelsce is what made itcall work last year. This is a big loss, but if any team can pull it off we can.

Exactly. Plus, as Rocky might say, he ain't as young as springtime no more. They need to manage his ailments carefully.

If by everyone you mean the chicken littles, then okay... the rest of us will laugh at them like every loss.

I assume someone's called Marcellus a stupid cockchugger already and I don't have to bother to go backwards in the thread?

Not having Kelce and Jones only adds to the legend of Mahomes.;)

Watched the Kelce brothers Pod cast today where he was called Trav all through the production by brother and sister-in-law.

How about Mr Trav going forward? :p

DaFace 09-07-2023 09:22 PM

We need Kelce. Who knew?

Kelce had no power with his knee in the pool, is that right? Why would a bone bruise cause that?

Yeah they said this during the broadcast. Very concerning to me that they would make that public?

Because a bone bruise is painful and he was most likely favoring it because of the pain.

Maybe, but it sounded like they were intentionally testing that knee. Favoring the other leg shouldn't really be a factor.

Megatron96 09-08-2023 04:09 PM

Let's just hope that Travis is 100% soon, and that nothing about this injury lingers. Otherwise, it's going to be a long difficult season for the Chiefs.

MagicHef 09-11-2023 03:19 PM

Did they ever release the results of the second MRI?

Megatron96 09-11-2023 03:28 PM

What's the story with the bone bruise? is that an actual fact?

just wondering, because i reminded today that bone bruises take more time to heal, because, obviously, blood doesn't flow through bones, and the bruise will take longer to clear up.

Depending on the severity, it might make a difference in Travis' return timetable.

Rainbarrel 09-11-2023 03:31 PM

He self imposed a 1 game suspension for unsportsman like conduct. In a training camp scrimmage

Yes, it came back positive that your mom's a dirty whore

Megatron96 09-11-2023 07:22 PM

ESPN reported that although Travis does have a deep bone bruise, as long as he practices tomorrow without issues, he's expected to play vs. JAX. So good news.

smithandrew051 09-11-2023 07:24 PM

Help is on the way

CasselGotPeedOn 09-11-2023 07:30 PM

So apparently they were initially worried that he had a tibial plateau fracture.

BossChief 09-11-2023 07:34 PM

We will be fine against Jacksonville as long as Jones plays and Toney remembers how to catch. Part of me even kinda wants that to happen to try to get this young group of WRs a full week of prepping for a big game they will be counted on in.

Travis would probably punch Burkholter, though.

Rainbarrel 09-11-2023 07:35 PM

How does Adam Schefter not walk around with daily refreshed black eyes
