But not about Josh Allen. I like our head coach as a person but do not think he is championship caliber. I like our OC as a person but do not think he is championship caliber. Our DC is our head coach so you know how I feel about the DC. As for Diggs…. Diggs is gonna Diggs. We all know that, right? |

McDermott is begging for things to quiet down in Buffalo. Every day this week has been a shit show. Meltdown by the team on Monday, racist comments from the owner on Tuesday, and reporter drama with Stefon Diggs on Wednesday.

Not talking shit with that. They legit don’t seem like a true playoff team. |

The only thing that's left is for Allen to get hurt. If his HUGE running advantage is diminished he becomes a complete mess of a QB. |
What was the rumor about Allen again? Cheated and knocked up Diggs’ girlfriend right before the divisional vs the Bengals?
Hmm. The Bills have been a disaster ever since and Diggs has been unhinged. Verdict: True |

You know what's funny?
Yeah, The Chiefs lost in week one, and did so without Chris Jones, without Travis Kelce, no Omenihu until week 6. A very young WR corps dropping balls and running routes a little off, and the timing was a tick off, but they lost to what will almost certainly be a play-off team. And there is every reasonable expectation that all of those things will get better every week as the season goes on. The Bills...just looked bad, and what are their excuses? What is there to say-this team is going to get better as the season goes on? The Jets have a good defense, but possibly the worst QB in the NFL put up enough points to beat you? I think they're better than they played, but this is a veteran team. There are no reinforcements coming. There's no reason to expect growth from youngsters or star players returning from injury/hold-outs. The team that lined up on Monday is the team they're expecting to be a Super Bowl team. I'm not seeing it. |

This is so much worse than anything Patrick had to go through. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">“Someone in that building has to have the courage to sit down, look him dead in the eyes as a grown man and say, ‘We have to grow up.’”<br><br>-<a href="https://twitter.com/danorlovsky7?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@danorlovsky7</a> on Josh Allen <a href="https://t.co/InvtnvIPQo">pic.twitter.com/InvtnvIPQo</a></p>— Get Up (@GetUpESPN) <a href="https://twitter.com/GetUpESPN/status/1702336836473938215?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 14, 2023</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
The company you keep. The "look at me" Bills fans
|
I see Bills fans are now claiming Allen got concussed a few times in this past game as reason to explain his terrible play. They may never accept he is just not a cerebral enough QB to be the best he can be.

Allen is going through counseling. Or therapy. Or whatever it is that reforms one's habits and behavior. Patrick was an adult with a great work ethic entering the NFL. Allen was a baby who is still a baby. |

Right, makes no sense. They are hopeful that he hides concussions to explain his bad play, yet should he be getting concussions it’s due to him taking unneeded hits and thus hides lots of them, and team ignores them, and this is a good thing? |
Copy and pasting from the Bills forum. You must admit (actually, most of you won’t, but the honest ones might) that this is damning evidence. The before and after numbers are eye opening.
—————————— With 4:55 remaining in the 3rd quarter, Josh Allen stumbled forward and while on the ground, was hit in the back of the head by a very large and very heavy Quinnen Williams. The video of the hit is in the tweet below. 1) In the video, you can see Quinnen Williams land on Allens head area. Once Quinnen rolls away, Allen raises his head for a moment, and then lowers his head back down to the turf (perhaps trying to compose himself) before getting back up. 2) The very next play, Allen threw an interception into double coverage. 3) Prior to this hit, Allen was 21 of 25, 1 TD, 1 INT (84% passing) 4) After this hit, Allen went 8 of 16, 0 TD, 2 INT, 1 Lost Fumble (50% passing) Or it could also simply be coincidence. That is also possible. The video: Page 1 of 6 Join the conversation You can post now and register later. If you have an account, sign in now to post with your account. Reply to this topic... just casually sending out your concussion prone, contact seeking franchise QB to get even more concussions, as one does

Its just head trauma guys |
yeah I mean he could die or suffer debilitating brain trauma but we got a game against Zach Wilson to lose

You're acting as if this is some abnormality created by a concussion, when in fact, this is a pattern for the most turnover prone QB in the league. |

Allen had 42 TD’s and 14 INT’s last season. |

Trying to defend the most turnover prone QB in the league as if the stats are lying is what harms your credibility. And you, my little dildo slinging friend, have absolutely shredded any credibility you had and have fallen to Queso-Joe territory in a downward spiral this week as the whole nation watched your Qb get exposed for what he is. The entire football world is talking about Josh Allen's maturity, decision making, work ethic and debauchery. Deal with it. |
Oh and your WR is a complete shit head.
And your HC effectively called your Qb stupid on national TV. |
so like if we're going to assume that anytime josh has more than let's say 1 turnover (his average) it's because he's playing concussed?
he played concussed in the following games last season (??): 9/8 @LAR 9/25 @MIA 10/2 @BAL 10/30 v GB 11/6 @NYJ 11/13 v MIN 11/24 @ DET 12/17 v MIA 12/24 @ CHI 1/15 v MIA Looking good for his brain not turning to pudding I don't understand this excuse making from buff fans lol |
maybe the better explanation is for some reason he sucks at protecting the ball when he's on the road
|
He's better with concussions than Tua
OWNED! |

Within the first few plays McDermott was yelling at him to play smart because he was turning upfield for two extra yards against multiple defenders and leaping guys six yards from a first down. And his first INT he had all day to run but threw it into triple coverage. |

QB Coach Jordan Palmer on @TheHerd today was asked why Josh Allen isn’t as “buttoned up” as of late: “It’s less about Ken Dorsey & what he isn’t. It’s more about Brian Daboll. I think a few years from now we’ll all say that’s the best coach in football…” “(Bill Belichick) made a comment to me once & we were talking about Daboll and he said ‘Daboll’s one of the only coaches I’ve ever been around that can be an elite offensive coordinator, an elite defensive coordinator & an elite special teams coordinator. He understands football at that level.’” “When you lose that, you aren’t just gonna replace it.” “What Josh benefited from with Daboll was not just the play calling but learning the game… learning the game from who Bill Belichick and a lot of other people think is one of the smarter dudes in the league at teaching the position”. But I thought Diq Lix knew more than the NFL's top personal QB coach? He said Daboll was not going to be missed. |
Bills front office could easily give him the Derek Carr treatment. Constant HC/OC turnover
|
Daboll will be back in Buffalo when Daniel Jones and his contract gets him fired.
Might be too late though. |
McDermott has got to be on thin ice

ETA - Josh Allen signed a contract extension just over 2 years ago. Just a quick search told me that it had $150 million in guarantees and was worth up to $258 million with an average annual salary of $43 million per year. At the time that was a HUGE contract, but now it's down the scale and actually looks like a pretty good bargain if Allen is indeed one of the best players in the NFL. So, if Allen is one of the best players in the NFL and critical to the success of the Bills, then why wouldn't he also receive the very best medical care from the Bills' medical staff? Why risk the long term health of your star QB just to win a single game of relatively little significance? Either Josh was ok and the poor play was totally on him, or he wasn't ok and the Bills' medical staff totally botched the situation and risked the health of your superstar. Which of these 2 things happened? |
Quote:
If we just judge by the look on his face during is pressers recently, yah, he definitely is. |
Quote:
And please don't give me the fumbled snap excuse. Allen had 13 fumbles last year and only one was a botched snap by Morse. |
