I don’t want Jenkins but I’d take Slay for sure.
2nd rounder probably as high as I’d go. |
Even if we trade for Slay....I don’t know if I see them keeping 6 CBs on the roster.

Slay would be a helluva get.

Sorenson plays about 60% of the defensive snaps. No way he goes

We need to not trade any picks higher than a 4.
We're going to need them to re-stock next year. The days of trading away those high picks need to be over. |
Yeah because years of repeatedly trading away high picks has not worked for the Patriots one bit. If you do it right, it's highly effective.

Trade back maybe, but they don’t give the picks up altogether very often. |
Breeland and a 3rd for Slay.

The Giants can have a 7th round pick in 2023 for Jenkins.
|
Top 10 pass D and people still want to trade for a corner lol.
We need physical front 7 players. |
Slay misses another game with Hammy
|
Think he’s really hurt?

@JFowlerESPN: A few trade deadline notes:
*Some around league expect Leonard Williams to be next big name to drop. Oakland among teams looking for pass rush help. *Chiefs, Eagles have shown interest in Patrick Peterson, but Cards haven't been willing to move. |
I hope the Cards lose the rest of their games if they don’t trade Peterson.
|
Forget Peterson. Give me Slay.
|
Veach do not raise the price for PP! If they won’t take your initial offer don’t budge. Even tho HB would get his best friend back
Eagles offered a first and Agholor for PP but they said no |
The eagles really offered that?
|
Quote:
|
Yeah no thanks on that
Be like a first and robinson? Nah |
Zona not moving on Peterson. That could be a top 15 pick.
Stupid ****ing franchise. |
Yeah idk if I’d do a 1st or not.
I guess I probably would if PP has looked like his normal self thus far but that’s steep. And apparently not enough anyways. |
Would Jenkins even be an upgrade?
|
Quote:
Unless it’s someone like PP, doubt we upgrade from what we have currently. |
Howie Roseman is a reerun. No wonder his team is spiraling downward
|
This guy has nailed basically everything so far. Nailed the Sanu and Sanders trade two days before it happened and nailed the Girardi to Phillies

Give me Slay and call it a day.

I’m not sending a 1 and a player for a 29 year old CB coming off a ped suspension that would need a new deal unless we got a third rounder back in the deal. Similar to a comp pick we would get in the 2021 draft for letting a player like Robinson walk.
This team needs to improve its current roster, but not at the cost of a first that wouldn’t get a sizeable ROI after 2 years when the player is overpriced and not as effective. The max I’d part with for PP or Slay and a third... is a 1 and DR. Seriously, if we send a premium pick, we need to get a semi premium back in the deal. This team needs to replace a lot of snaps next year through draft picks |
Give me Leonard Williams

I'd offer a 6th this year and a 7th next. Wouldnt go any higher than a 4th for a rental though. |

I dont know what moves the Chiefs make, if any? But it sure would be nice going into next years draft with our first round pick, still intact. Personally, I dont think our Defense is that far off, our cornerbacks are serviceable, and safeties sound. We just need to keep fresh D lineman, rotated, to get some push and stop the run!

Here’s another name that bears watching as Tuesday’s trade deadline approaches: Lions’ CB Darius Slay, per league sources. If they’ll do it for a 2nd sure.
I won’t send out a first for anyone at this point t |
Da fuk. Glazed just said teams have called about trading for Deandre Hopkins!!
Also said Mahomes has a chance to play next week. He will push for it |

Dear lord there has to be someone willing to trade a run stuffing dl or an athletic lber
|
Seriously though. Who are some good coverage LB’s and what would they cost?

Gotta bring in Zach Brown, Brandon Marshall and Mason Foster for workouts to see if they can help. It’s impossible that one of them isn’t better than Neimann.

Wasn’t Darren Lee SUPPOSED to be that cover LB....?
Guess when you tackle shoulders (Lee), and carry the rock in your hand (McCoy)....you ultimately end up on the bench. |

I'd put Mathieu on the RBs. Don't think there's a nickelbacker out there on the block, unfortunately. What did ODaniel do to not even see the field?

Then look at 2019 The Chiefs pay a lot of money for a position they are terrible at. |
Veach will do nothing even though we need an OLB bad.

Kccrow brought him up in the draft thread but I’d call up Dorsey and see if we can give up something for Joe Schobert. He’s going to be a FA after this year and they may not want to keep him.

Cardinals traded for Kenyan Drake.

I’d see if Dorsey wants a 4 for Schobert.
