Vince McMahon can't bring the XFL back fast enough. Sadly, even he is better at running a football league than Roger Goodell.

You think Kroenke's bullshit was bad? Try dealing with that for 20+ YEARS. That's what San Diego fans had to put up with from the Spanos family.

At least the Rams got St. Louis a ring before they left. The Spanii certainly never managed to do that for San Diego.

The last time Kroenke spoke to the St. Louis media in a public setting was when Fisher was hired. He did not comment publicly regarding the stadium situation at all. Instead, he had his mouthpiece, Demoff, blatantly lie to the St. Louis area with regards to his intentions for the Inglewood plot of land.

St. Louis publicly paid for a football stadium and was about pay for another one within the span of about 20 years.

Torn calf for Antonio Brown.

If the Jags win out at 49ers and at Titans and the Steelers lose one more at Texans or versus Browns then Jags get the second seed.

One catch away from 1st seed to 3rd seed.

If the Jags win out and Steelers and Patriots both lose one of their last two then Jax will be the number one seed.

Same story with Deano. He hid behind his PR spin-doctor Mark Fabiani until the relocation was official. Then after he threw away 55 years of history, he left us with a form letter that barely even mentioned San Diego. They've spent this season pretending as much as possible that the team never played in San Diego while milking the crap out of old highlights from the 1960 LA Chargers.

When the county annexes the city.

We can both agree, at least, **** the NFL.

gblowfish 12-17-2017 07:27 PM

From an article about the dept on the Eddie Dome:
To cover costs, the city paid about $6 million for annual debt service and maintenance for the stadium but collected only about $4.2 million in direct revenues from Rams games, according to the Mayor’s office. The state, which paid $12 million annually, made $12.4 million in revenues from NFL activities, Missouri Department of Economic Development estimated. The county paid $6 million annually; it’s unclear how much of that was offset by Rams-related revenues.

All three entities will continue paying their share until the debt is paid off in 2021.

Without the Rams’ revenues, St. Louis is looking at an even deeper financial hole. And it’s coming at a time when the city is facing a spiking murder rate, high poverty and high debt.

No. Other teams just need to stop being pussies and play their brand of football. Pats are not unbeatable and they have ther fair share of star injuries. K.C. can very well compete with New England

If you can stretch the ball, you have possession. You can't have the Packers play ruled a fumble and Steelers play ruled incomplete under the same rules.

Unless there is tremendous turnover luck on their side, this version of the Chiefs cannot compete with the Patriots if the Patriots play zone.

The best way to recover from a torn calf muscle is by protection, rest, ice, compression, and elevation (PRICE). If treated properly, it can take up to three weeks to heal Grade 1 calf pulls, four to six weeks to heal Grade 2 muscle strains, and three to four months to heal Grade 3 tears.

Depends on how bad it is.

gblowfish 12-17-2017 07:40 PM

Dylan 12-17-2017 07:42 PM

Okay, this pertains to a couple of opinions that were made about the Giants in this forum - Since I am pissed...

I am so sick of people thinking they know about the Giants - You build a team from the trenches out...Something the Giants have not done for the past six years. The Giants offensive line could not cover for a high school team.

Eli is not a WCO QB. He is a North / South QB, 32 passes - 32 runs ratio... He is sick of being beat to a pulp every damn game for Reese's failure to draft pieces to keep him upright. He is ranked No.2 in the NFL behind Derek Carr for having to get rid of the ball quickly before the line collapses. He should sue the organization for non-protection.

My poor neighbor had the unfortunate timing of sharing the elevator with me as I was going to the store. He had the nerve to say, "Eli is done"... A moron that knows nothing about the fundamentals of football - Successful teams build a team from the trenches. They do not understand this is a team sport and the F coach and F GM - most important towards making a team successful finally were fired - The GM was first to go. In addition to success, add in a team's chemistry.

The Giants consists of street players - drafts picks that were not either coached up or have no business as a pro-football player. Each week the organization signs new players making their NFL debut.

How dare the GM not address the offensive line during the last five years - and when Reese did, drafted a No. 1 bust - The rest of the line are made up of other teams cut garbage that are either on IR or have been benched.

Jerry Reese can go F himself for wasting Eli's years with the worst drafts in the NFL. McAdoo, if ever gets a job in the NFL, should go back to GB and kiss Rogers's ass. He failed miserably trying to install GB's offensive system in New York.

Today, the offensive coordinator finally opened up the offense - North / South - Eli threw for 434 yards. 3 TDs, and 1 INT to a no-name WR.

During the game, Eli had two WRs miss perfect thrown balls in the end zone for TDs. To top it off - The Giants special teams had two FG's blocked and one extra point blocked. What team in the NFL has multiple blocked FG's almost every single game... That alone would have won the game for the Giants. Eli was never the Giants problem - The problem stems from what was not given to him that is to blame.

In addition, whoever said that F Geno Smith should be the QB for the Giants is ignorant. He should stick to the team that he knows best and watches faithfully week in and week out!

No replies necessary...

Rams Fan 12-17-2017 07:43 PM

Dylan, Eli is done. Benching Eli was the right move. Starting Geno over Webb wasn't.

McAdoo is the result of Reese's ineptness.
