Figured but thought I'd ask anyway. I'll be back in the homeland for a vacation...on the good side of the state. :D

Picked up a bottle of Riegers Kansas city whiskey.

It is different... Can taste the sherry. Have not decided if I like it or not.

As for the Kraken, I did see that. Did you like it on the rocks? I hope you did...

I drank FOUR of the Dobel Diamante's on the rocks with lime juice and a lime wedge at lunch today. I was buzzed and even with all the food, I was feeling just about right. Still had a 45 minute drive from Greenbelt MD to my office. It had been a very long time since I had Tequila but it tasted great. I was at Chevy's on one of my clients properties. Damn stuff was $15.50 a glass! :thumb:

You treating yourself to some hot black man? ;)

I think I finally found my favorite cheap tequila.

Altos. I prefer Reposados and this one is good. Touts itself as stone crushed tequila which is how Patron is also made and it's claim to fame. I could actually sip this tequila but it's also great in a traditional margarita(lime, triple sec, tequila) for that great tequila taste.

I'm on the Crown Royale tonight. Always nice.

Later I'll be having brews. Hercules Double IPA is my favorite IPA right now.

Why would you hate the Vikes? Very Chiefs like team with constant losing and choking in big games. Culpepper and Moss were ****ing awesome. You can't hate Minnesota outside of dumbass Peterson.

Pretty good.

I do, but I prefer to spend time with him and see how awesome he is, and the awesome role model his older brother is too. In the end all I do is keep them on track when they drift, but they do the work and gut-out the challenges.

Got a nice surprise on a liquor deal today. Fry's grocery had ad for buy 2 bottles of Crown Royal regular or Apple and get each bottle for $13.99. Figured, welp that's damn good and I can't pass up that labor day sale to add to my stock pile.

At this grocery they have things like Crown locked up so you have to go to the register and when you checkout, mention what you want and they get it from the back room. It was super busy and we asked for a bottle of regular Crown and a bottle of Apple Crown. Guy returns with just one bottle of Apple and said in the first case they were out of regular crown so he needed to get the managers key to go into another case for the regular Crown. Comes back and says they are out of both. I was ready to just buy another Apple, even though I have never had it, but he offers the other bottle to either be a Rye or Black label as the line was starting to get long behind us and this was taking quite long to accomplish. Very nice of them to match it even though it wasn't part of the offer.

So I got these two for $13.99 each today. :D

KCrockaholic 09-05-2015 06:33 PM

Nice deal! How do you like the Apple if you've had it yet? I had a shot of it at a bar a few weeks ago and was actually enjoyable. Put it in the freezer for a while. My bartender made it somewhat frothy before serving.

Haven't had it yet. Others say it's good which is kind of surprising given the snobbery of disliking all flavored whiskey. I went with some tequila tonight in a Paloma. I'll crack the Apple whiskey when some of the other stuff it used. :thumb:

I liked it. Although, not near as good as regular crown. It was an Xmas gift. Drank a couple of them with water.

KCrockaholic 09-05-2015 10:33 PM

Well I've had 4 Tank 7's and 3 Buffalo Trace whiskeys. I'm debating 1 more whiskey. I think I'll go for it.

Sorry man, time with the boys on the links will always have priority over almost anything. It's amazing how golf with the boys gives you a lot of time to just talk without a bunch of things to distract you.

I never really thought about it but a few rounds into golfing with the older son really showed me that it's awesome...

Yeah. That was pretty disappointing. Will be really curious to see, after watching Ole Miss and Mizzou shit the bed, how the Hogs finish out the season. We have some very winnable games with Auburn, Miss St., Ole Miss, and Mizzou ahead for conference play. LSU, which clearly should be a defeat, is always an interesting game for the Hogs. Since it's at LSU, I dont' think we have much of a chance... but you never know. The first step is in beating a very beatable Auburn team. But lose that game, and Hogs season is complete shit.

I love Bielema, but he wouldn't know what to do with Mallett (he could probably turn Matt Jones into Russell Wilson). I will be really curious to see how we finish out this year. We lost some stupid noncon games. We've also suffered from some insane injury waves. That being said, we keep getting better each week.

It amazes me to see our coaches make chicken salad out of chicken shit while I'm simultaneously watching Ole Miss, Auburn, and Ohio State (though they maintain their record) make chicken shit out of amazing talent.

KCrockaholic 10-17-2015 11:35 PM

One thing I believe about Bielema is that he straight up LOOKS like he should be the HC of Arkansas. He looks like a damn hog himself. Maybe that'll help chemistry in the long haul, I don't know.
