Its not really forgotten, but its old

Currently 45 minutes into a second viewing of Mississippi Burning with Hackman and Dafoe... damn its good, Hackman is just chewing up every scene he's in

Lot of love for Kurt Russell, deservedly so. Dude is awesome.

If you wanna see another side to Kurt Russell, check out The Battered Bastards of Baseball. It's a doc from about ten years ago covering his time playing in independent league baseball up in Portland. Team was owned by his larger than life father. Great, great stuff.

Hackman OWNS that movie. When he grabs Michael Rooker's balls, I feel that.

"Now get this straight shitkicker! Don't you go confusin' me with some whole other body. You must have your brains in your dick if you think we're gonna just walk away from this. We're gonna stay 'till this gets done."

Turns to the Brad Dourif, Deputy character...: "How 'bout you, Deputy. That gun of yours just for show or do you get to shoot people once in a while?"

Frees Rookers nuts: "Thanks for the beer."

What's got four eyes in it and can't see? Mississippi.

And oh baby... the scene when he gets to have some fun with the Deputy/Brad Dourif. Soooo satisfying... "You got a stupid smile, you know that?" "Make no mistake Deputy, I'll cut your ****ing head off and not give a shit how it reads in the report sheet."

Pure intimidation. Dude knew how to be scary as hell without going over the top. Just ask Morgan Freeman from their time together on Unforgiven.

"Now I ain't gonna hurt no woman. But I am gonna hurt you (Ned). And not gentle like before... But *BAD*."

Edit: It's on Tubi TV if you want some laughs.

One of my favorites. Great movie.

Beckett

The Lion in winter (the original with Peter O'Toole and Katherine Hepburn)

I thought of another old 80s comedy that is definitely forgotten - My Chauffer. Starring Deborah Foreman, Howard Hesseman and Sam Jones from Flash Gordon, in the only other movie I ever saw him in besides Flash Gordon. Also features a very young Penn and Teller.

Two sci-fi movies that fall into the "so bad they're good" category: Battle Beyond the Stars and Ice Pirates.

Heh. Blue Chips came up on the Rewatchables. That’s one I never heard talked about but is really a good film.
