That's not a routine play. The hitter has some speed, so Bobby has to move fast and because he had to get up so fast the grass became displaced and made him fall. I don't blame Bobby at all, because if he's not getting to that ball, getting up as fast as he can, and firing it to first then the runner is safe anyway.

What the Royals need is another 3 Headed monster in the bullpen.

A guy who can go 2-3 innings throwing nothing but smoke...

the 8th Inning guy who has great stuff and keeps the other team off balance after facing 2 innings of nothing but fastballs and hard sliders.

Then a very reliable closer who isn't erratic.
