Actually, I think we should be considered lucky with the number of great writers we've had go through the Star in the past 2-3 decades.
JoPo before he got in the business of defending scumbags like Paterno. Ivan Carter was fun and entertaining. Obviously Terez Paylor was one of the greatest the league has had in recent years.
And you know what? If Babb doesn't do his goddamn homework and publish that Arrowhead Anxiety piece, it's possible Clark doesn't feel the pressure to fire his buddy Fat Scott, we never get Andy, and this golden age never happens at all. Babb did exactly what he needed to do in exposing the ridiculously ineffective and terrible working environment that prevented quality people from wanting to work for our organization. Babb's piece was absolutely a part of getting many of the fans to demand a completely team enema to clean out the toxic Patriot poo.
And sure, let's throw Whitlock up there, sure.
