Hopefully adding Michael Dyer to that logjam next year.

I'm currious if randle ends up at LSU or Bama if he joins julio that's a bad a@@ one two punch.

Looks like Florida is the big winner so far, at least according to Rivals. Jumped up to #7 recruiting class from #11 earlier this morning.

sweet ...... KU went ahead and got McDougald

I could of sworn I heard Dts mom stating derrion was going to bama but no mention of him. I hope Saban gives him a scholar ship.

Eh, we have a great class (will prob. finish top-10) but we had some guys get scared of competition (Nu'Keese, Greg Reid). Don't blame Teague for staying close to home. We got Debose, Brown and Jenkins who are all MAJOR. Also getting 5 great OL is big. Good, balanced class. Looks like we're done though so it's a little small at 16, maybe 17.

The overall winner would be #1 yes. But I think the class that moves up towards the top the MOST today, would be today's winner.

Given the number of returning starters, I'm pretty happy with the class. And there are still some good recruits which have Florida on their short list today:

Dre Kirkpatrick (DB 5 star )
Marlon Brown (WR 4 star )
Orson Charles (OL 4 star )

Generally, yes, but it's not that simple. Size classes vary a lot. Florida only has 16 signed right now whereas Ole Miss has 35. Not all of Ole Miss's guys will qualify and not all will stick - you can't bring in that many. I always like to look and see if a class is balanced and then look at the average star rating. Florida's class is extremely balanced (QB, RB, WR, TE, OL, OL, OL, OL, OL, DE, DT, DT, LB, LB, DB, DB) and they currently have the highest average star rating at 3.94.

The only guy I would really give a chance would be Charles, but we wont know about him for a while.

I'm happy with the class. Once it was known that we would have everyone returning 2-deep on defense and most starters on offense combined with our already astonishing depth you knew we would get some guys who would jump ship and that the class would be smaller. Ideally Urban wants between 18-21 kids every year anyway. We shouldn't expect to see anymore 24-25 guy signing classes anymore at Florida.

Hey, we just signed the son of former Cardinal QB Neil Lomax and Warrick Dunn's cousin. LMAO

Stryker 02-04-2009 01:32 PM

Currently at the #1 position
