I actually think Carroll has the players best interests at heart. Living in L.A. I hear about all of the things he does in the community. Obviously this helps his recruiting but he goes above and beyond to stem gang violence and keep kids off the street. He seems like a great guy which is why I was surprised he let his emotion get the better of him and sound off in the press at the possible detriment to Sanchez's career.

If I came off as saying carroll was a bad guy, I didn't mean to. I just think that he tends to make things harder, not easier, on his college players once they leave.
