every niners fan out here is making excuses... I talked to one of the more realistic niners fans I know, and he was making all kinds of excuses already for Purdy. And this was yesterday before this practice field garbage. I have another couple of friends who talked trash all season long about how the niners were the best team in the league and how they "hoped" to play the Chiefs... but suddenly the texts and calls have stopped |

And then next season around here, the Chiefs will sleepwalk through a game in September and we'll hear about it for the rest of the year... even the chicken littles get re-energized every offseason as THIS is the year of failure and "I told you so, this was a down year in week 3!" |
Better bring the long cleats

Only the Raiders could make their old dirt infields look good.
And it's easy to see why San Fran's rivals always call them the Forty Whiners. |

The more I hear out of the San Fran side, the more I think this could be like 35-14 Chiefs.
Brock Purdy is going to have to play his ass off in a way that is a complete 180 from what he's done so far in the playoffs. I think when we look back, they're gonna say stuff like, "if only Purdy had gotten to see Spags's defense once in the regular season!!!" |
Kyle Shannahan told Peter King that SB LIV was far worse than 28-3 and it still stings him to this day.
He's gonna pull out all the stops |

How could the loss to the Chiefs be worse than arguably the worst collapse in pro sports history? |
