Why? He was getting exactly what he needed, immediately. When you call a code and a guy is on solid ground, you don’t move him. You begin compressions.

In a bed, you roll the patient and place a CPR Board under them and begin compressions.

NFLN just reported on the tweet from his marketing agent so unless they got fooled the tweet is real and encouraging.

Haunting. Went into a couple commercials thinking it was just another unfortunate concussion and then players are ****ing bawling and there's an ambulance shooting out onto the field.

Looks like press conference from hospital may be coming soon

Standard procedure to stabilize before transport - the only time you load up while doing CPR is when it isn't going well.

Not true. My son had a cardiac issue and after performing CPR on site for a short amount of time, they did it in the ambulance all way to the hospital and at the hospital for a total time of 90 minutes.

I'd cancel the game. No reschedule. No forfeiture or tie awarded to either team.

We still have another week of games to play. If the Bills lose to the Patriots and the Chiefs win, it's irrelevant if a result of this game is scored. Chiefs would have the #1 seed, and the 2 and the 3 would be determined by whether or not Cincy wins their week 18 matchup.

If events don't fall neat and tidy like that, you at least have an entire week to prep and determine as a league what the best decision is. That's better than abruptly telling these teams to play on a Tuesday and then have them haul ass to fit in Week 18.

It's not going to happen that way, because something about legal competitive balance something something yadda yadda, but if I were Goodell and could waive a magic wand, it's how I'd handle the situation.

Hard surface, like the ground, is much easier to perform CPR.

These medical professionals and their quick attention probably saved his life.

Outside of a hospital, he was in the best possible place to have this happen.

Not only chances for survival increased, but hopeful chances to minimize permanent debilitating physical damage.
