I enjoy it. It makes one feel like a genius when you can give all the correct responses in a category.

I find it to be the only good still-running game show on TV. More than any other, it encourages the viewer at home to play along.

I also love how you don't have to know anything about the categories to gain an educated guess from the clue. For example, here was today's final jeopardy in the category "Art Subjects"

In 1816, Francisco Goya published a series of 33 etchings called "La Tauromaquia," which depict this activity.

I know only a little bit about art, but almost nothing about Goya. I also know almost zero Spanish. I was able to get the correct response given the cues from the clue.

Now THAT is a superior game show. It places more emphasis on actual smarts in its contestants than just a backlog of trivia knowledge they might possess.
