Zero?

There's been buzz around Za'Darius Smith since the Packers cut him.

Would love to be wrong about that.

If there is anyone he's pissed out....it's Pace. Pace wouldn't pay him.

Zadarius Smith

I’d rather have chandler. He’s long with 35” arms and a better scheme fit, plus he’s been healthier than smith.

Kinda depends on Nagy's actual role vs. his title.

Sure, he's the 'QB Coach' but if he's really an assistant OC of sorts, Robinson will have plenty of interaction with him.

That said - the whole idea is overblown. What will make/break the signing is money and opportunity. And unfortunately, many teams can offer more opportunity so the Chiefs will have to close the gap with money.

And I'm just not excited about that prospect.

Yep.

THAT QB is also being coached by the guy he has serious trust issues with right now. And as a 'senior assistant coach' in addition, I have no doubt he will be involved in game planning with the offense

Not saying that would definitively keep him from signing here, but it may be a roadblock the Chiefs have to overcome if they are really interested in AR.

Edit: Sorry, late to the thread. Just read this issue has already been covered.

It's going to be Juju or Landry. And if I had to put money on one of them....it'd be Juju.

Is there anyone we could trade for? Davenport restructured with the saints and hunter may cost too much? Any other DEs available via trade?

FloridaMan88 03-16-2022 09:57 AM

Sammy Watkins about to sign somewhere?

That's what I think too. It's going to be Juju. They wanted him last year.

Yeah, that is likely and probably the obvious pick since we know the Chiefs offered him a contract last off-season.

Now if the Saints get Watson....then who knows where he goes at this point. The Saints won't be able to afford him. He could still go to Atlanta and team up with the corpse of Matt Ryan but I guess we'll see.

The Saints cleared $80M in space without dropping a player.

I know they were in the hole, but having a hard time thinking they can't afford pretty much whoever they want.

EDIT: Sorry, Mahomo - repeating what you said earlier
