Burrow looked like he did in the AFCCG a couple of years ago...game on the line and takes a sack.

I'm not sure why people are talking them up other than his stats...clutch QBs dont lose 8 one score games.

Burrow still hasn't thrown a 4th quarter TD in the post-season...he's definitely a good QB but not in the same class as Mahomes/Allen. He's had two #1 WR's his whole career and when Higgins went out...so did their offense.

You really think the NFL would rather have Nix/Allen over Burrow/Allen?

Donks get in...that game will be over by halftime.

It's only favoritism when it works against you...they get to live vicariously, tomorrow, rooting for the Chiefs...and experience what it's like to be the chosen franchise.

All those complaints about false starts suddenly dissipate into the aether...missed holding calls, they didn't see anything...late PI calls..."if it's a penalty in the 1st quarter, it should be a penalty in the final 2 minutes".

Your shitshow team is such a laughingstock, that you are forced to desperately root for the Chiefs led by Carson Wentz.

The best players put up the best stats, because they're the best.

It's a good thing to have the best players, because typically that means your team is playing well and winning.

If Denver wins today i'll just shrug and say, well, the Bengals should have won more games between week 1 and week 12. It's their own fault for being in this sitch.

One thing i won't be doing is desperately rooting for anyone. I'll watch the games and when they're over, either fist pump or just go about my life as if the games never happened because i can't control any of it.

One thing i will be able to do, is laugh at you guys for losing to Bo Nix and how most of you want Denver to win because you're so utterly scared of the Bengals, you want absolutely no part of them in the playoffs.

The Bengals are 60M under the cap, with another potential 28M in cuts + about 8M rollover from this year + salary cap going up next year. They have a whopping 357k in dead money.

They can easily keep all 3 if they want plus dip into free agency.

They don't have a money problem, they have a penny-pinching problem.

They'd be well-served taking that cap space and putting it into Oline and defense.

That's the penny-pinching part. They'd rather stay comfortable in being under the cap than spending money necessary to give them a really solid Oline and defense.

They have the money ability, they just don't have the brain ability.

warpaint* 01-05-2025 10:51 AM

This is getting a lot of run itt for something that has slim to no chance of happening. The Jets are a coin toss and the Chiefs practice squad’s double digit dogs.

No idea about the first pillow fight but I’d be shocked if Denver doesn’t win - they have so much to play for….as for the Chiefs you can talk about winning being important and being a professional and I am sure they mean it but there is an edge Denver will have bc they are desperate and need it and the Chiefs don’t. They’ll put out a professional effort with backups on the road in a playoff environment, lose, and Denver will party…….only to get smoked in Buffalo next week.

Cheap, shitty ownership is what holds franchises back forever. Even ones that have a great QB.

It sounds crazy, but you let Chase and Higgins walk, keep drafting well and use the cap towards core positions on the team.

Easily one of the worst takes in the history of this board, which is wildly impressive. The Chiefs (you know, the actual team and staff) aren’t afraid of the Bengals at all. A few fans may be, because, reasons. But even the majority of the fan base isn’t that way. Personally, I would absolutely love the 7th seed at Arrowhead but I don’t really care because I’m not afraid of the Bills either. Why would the lion ever fear the sheep?

That's not how it would go. Buffalo would have to play Baltimore before playing the Chiefs in AFC title game. I think you want the easiest path possible to AFC title game, which means you don't want Cincy in that 2nd round game. The absolute best case scenario might be this:

1st round - Buffalo defeats Cincy in a multiple overtime game.
2nd round - Baltimore vs. Buffalo goes to multiple overtimes.

Meanwhile Chiefs cruise to victory in the 2nd round against a team like Houston. But I don't trust Buffalo to defeat Cincy, so I want the Bengals eliminated today by Denver or Miami.

It's kinda nice that we pretty much know the result. This is the only stress-free game of the Chiefs season. It's cool to know a major rival in Cincy is pretty much dead in the water long before this game is over.

Another potential benefit of a blowout today is the Broncos might be able to rest some guys in the 2nd half, which helps them against Buffalo next week. We want Buffalo to have a really hard time in the first two rounds.

They finished the season at 9-8, yet their hatred for KC is so great that you have them blaming an obvious PI for why they will be watching the playoffs from home.

Oh, it's the outcome i expected. No biggie.

Win more games and you don't have to worry about someone helping you out. :thumb:

Heck, forget the penalty at the end of the game. Their $55M quarterback fumbled and the Chiefs directly got 6 points on the fumble. In a game decided by 1 point, that's a MASSIVE play to say the least.

It's similar to Eagle fans blaming the refs when Jalen Hurts fumbled and gave the Chiefs 7 points in a close Super Bowl. Exact same thing.

Seriously, so many missed opportunities.

Reload, make good cap decisions, draft well. Cincy still has a pretty good coach and the one thing the evades almost every NFL team: A franchise QB.

MarkDavis'Haircut 01-05-2025 04:54 PM

Reporters are so mad right now.

Maybe the Bungles should have won more games.

Red Dawg 01-05-2025 04:54 PM

Win more games assholes. We earned the right to rest. Maybe next year don't blow ass the first 3 games.

MMXcalibur 01-05-2025 04:56 PM

WHEW, THANK GOODNESS WE ARE PURPOSELY LOSING TO AVOID THE 9-8 BENGALS

This is the way.

Red Dawg 01-05-2025 04:57 PM

They are going home becuase they stunk and lost 8 games. Whinny babies blaming us for resting players.

smithandrew051 01-05-2025 04:58 PM

Pretty sure Joe Burrow attended Diddy parties and will be going to jail in the offseason.

Sorry, Bungholes. It’s over.

KC_Connection 01-05-2025 04:59 PM

Bengals fans having to sit and watch this game and hope for some kind of miracle is extremely satisfying to me. What a disgraceful fanbase, they deserve every bit of this beatdown.
