The thing I've learned in the Mahomes era is we have a game or two like that every year. At no time has it ever mattered. We always host the Championship game.

Not saying it can't come back to bite us eventually, because the odds say it will, but I wouldn't sweat it. Missed opportunity, for sure, but not the end of the world.
