First of all, I should have been more clear - these guys are basically discussing Clark keeping Pioli IN HIS EXISTING CAPACITY. They're talking about not only him staying in KC, but remaining in CHARGE.

1) Clark hires a full control HC that hates Pioli

2) Clark hires a nobody HC that keeps Pioli because the guy is probably connected to him or Father in Law Parcells


don't just assume that a new HC means NO Pioli. It's probably 50/50 at this point

:D The report is they are meeting in Pennsylvania. Vermeil still has a place there, a connection to the Eagles and Chiefs, and an affinity for Reid. I believe he's considered a family friend of both the Hunts and Reids. I think he could only help matters.

The sports media in this town, surprisingly, doesn't spend a lot of time following sports. At least the 810 guys are always doing other things. When they talk sports details, with the exception of Petro most of the time, they know less than almost anyone here. They are horribly misinformed, and somehow, they only take calls from people who know less than they do.
