Who knows what this means long term but I would say it strongly suggests he won't hold out the whole year.

Chris probably wants more in guaranteed income, either money per year, or number of real years, (whether or not his level of play, injury status deserves it) than KC wants to guarantee.

Presumably he wants to be protected/paid against injury, decline.

I mean why wouldn't he?

And why wouldn't KC want a Team friendly deal with incentives and outs?

Seems like there's no bad feelings at the moment. Good.

Hopefully they'll get this done over the next 8 months.

Honestly can’t fault either side. Just hope they can come to some sort of compromise.

Why would CJ go to KCI or even to a place accessible by the public at KCI? If he is indeed flying to KC, he would either land in a private plane at Muni airport or he would land in bum-**** Egypt at KCI and step into a ride waiting to take him to training camp.
