FAU -- 69.9 GK -- 63.8 Malik Herring -- 62.5 Chris Jones -- 61.0 And honestly, I have ZERO idea how they got there. 21 pass rush snaps, 1 total pressure. GK, OTOH, in 38 rush snaps had FIVE. I really do not understand how they grade DL (or OL play) at all. It just makes zero sense to me and it is SO prone to confirmation bias. But hell, the guy played 35 snaps and didn't suck. Regardless of what you think about his grade (total grade ended up checking out as decent), he most assuredly didn't suck. He was solid. |
He’s getting better. If anything he’s not gonna be a Skyy Moore level draft pick. Dude was putting in work yesterday.

Maybe that’s where he can be effective? |
Click thru the clip though, look at it frame by frame. Still so slow off the ball.
I don't get it. |
He looks like he belongs now, which is insane to say after some of those preseason reps.
Now that they are moving him around the front so he can beat some interior OL rushing the passer, I feel pretty confident he is at least going to be right around Danna's level as a player. Still a chance by year four he's a legit starter. |
FAU becoming a run-stuffing Allen Bailey-esque DE who occasionally gets to the passer would be an okay development.
|
Glad he gets another start tomorrow, zero reason to rush Danna back from the soft tissue stuff.
And FAU gets a pretty favorable matchup as well. I’d expect a flash or two. |

He's still so slow off the ball it may be the only thing he can ever hope to become. |
Wild how slow that get off is. If he makes any sort of improvement there I still think the hand usage and bend is really decent, and could amount to something.
If it doesn't improve then he really wasn't worthy of that first round grade. |

But Jones beat everyone off the ball. |

If he is way late. Then it's an entire team problem. Also Felix took on a double team and still got the tackle. Side note. Chris Jones has already beat his man before Chenal and Felix have engaged their blockers. That guy is a beast. |

Nice little pass rush rep from Sunday. Kid is figuring it out. He’s gonna be damn solid if not really good in a couple years. |
Honestly a nice up-close reminder that even as bad as it looks, it’s not over for Kingsley if you chooses for it not to be. For 2024 yes, but dedicate to your craft and find a way young man…
