It's not hard to remember when NUBBZ wanted "Dr. Tom" fired when he couldn't bring home the title. And they did want him canned. Then he turned up the the cc's on the steroid syringes and looked away when the guns and assaults and rapes happened and lo and behold he won two titles and was voted into the office.

Funny, that quote could seamlessly be replaced with kansas, given those states are very similar. And living in Omaha or Lincoln is much different than living in the smaller towns that have nothing going on.

Be sure to note the 5 national titles at the end. Whether you want to admit it or not, we have tradition and history that KU, Mizzou, and KSU can't buy. That makes a huge difference in recruiting.
Also of note: KU's last conference championship was in 1968 LMAO. I did not know that until my buddy who went to KU told me that.
