The Moss thing is…..interesting. By all accounts and rumors, Mizzou was offering a far more attractive NIL package.

My theory is all the QB recruits see how he has handled the QB position, they're afraid they will get buried on the depth chart so they don't want to sign up with Drink. His loyalty to Cook hurts Mizzou again.

Then I started reading your posts and realized they were right.

Why else would he turn down a better package then? Drink has quite the QB rep now.

Drinkwitz's inability to solve the QB position may end up being his Achilles heel.

Cook's play cost them a playoff spot this year, and he keeps finishing second with every portal QB while missing on his recruits.

I don’t think Fernando Mendoza is going to happen. Would guess Georgia for him. Also not sure he’s any different than Brady Cook.

Looking around the portal, there are still some interesting options.

Preston Stone from SMu is one of them. Malik Murphy improved a lot after leaving Texas for Duke. He’s a good athlete whose passing stepped forward.

A name in seeing less of but am interested in is Florida International QB Keyone Jenkins. He’s left handed and small (6-0/195), but he can sling it and is a running threat.

Pretty crazy his first transfer portal player is from SEMO.

SEMO was his only offer out of HS. He was a 0 star recruit in high school and has 0 stars as a transfer.

For some reason he's classified as a JR, but just had his first year in college. He had 76 rec, 934 yds, and 6 TDs.

John Mateer entered the portal and instantly became #1 QB and #1 player in the portal. Seen a rumor that Mizzou has reached out, but I doubt they'd pull this off. Power Mizzou thinks we're going after Fernando Mendoza from Cal.

Just hope we can bring in one good QB to compete.

Also Missouri got Josiah Trotter to commit. Won the Big 12 Defensive Freshmen Of The Year. He has 3 years of eligibility and is the son of Jeremiah Trotter.

I think he's got a chance to be really good for us.

Trotter was a big add. Love the LBs they got.
