Maybe the Giants benched him and used the injury as the excuse? We'll probably never know for sure.

Yeah...whatever happened, happened.....I think Toney is gonna work out, he is gonna be supported by the coaching staff and the WR room, he is gonna do what it takes and we are gonna look back on this deal as one of Veach's best trades.

Can't wait to see him on the field....be nice to see him house a punt on SNF to start off his Chiefs career.

I wonder if the Giants were holding him out the last week or so just so there’d be no way he could pop another hammy and not be tradable.

They obviously really wanted this guy. I gotta think they have plans for him already. Can't wait to see him play.

Toney shared that the teams interest was high on him even before he came into the league.

It's easy to see that Veach wanted him, but after pulling the trigger on the OBJ trade with the Ravens, we had no chance to get all the way up that high to get him. Makes you wonder if we had signed Silverback that offseason if we would have made a move for Toney.

Then, we wouldn't have Creed or Bolton, maybe. So it's weird how the butterfly effect works.

It turned out for the best in hindsight. We got Creed, Bolton, AND Toney.

Seriously. We dodged a bullet by losing out on him. And you have to wonder how SF feels about that contract now.
