Maybe the Giants benched him and used the injury as the excuse? We'll probably never know for sure.

Toney shared that the teams interest was high on him even before he came into the league.
It's easy to see that Veach wanted him, but after pulling the trigger on the OBJ trade with the Ravens, we had no chance to get all the way up that high to get him. Makes you wonder if we had signed Silverback that offseason if we would have made a move for Toney. Then, we wouldn't have Creed or Bolton, maybe. So it's weird how the butterfly effect works. |
