Sounds like SF wants to trade him, but wants max return and I can’t blame them.
It’s awfully close to the draft though….if they can’t extend him, they better get what they can and move on. |

Why trade a first and more to give a huge FA deal to Samuel when you can just draft Dotson, Burks or Pickens and get a similar player for cheap?

I understand i'm here with an unpopular opinion and fighting an uphill battle, but i just happen to be of the opinion that a lot of his production is schemed. Deebo is the current flavor of the month. I'd be curious to see how he's viewed once he leaves SF. He's a 4.5 speed guy, so he's not particularly fast. You can pull up a large number of clips of him being dragged down from behind. At 6', he's not a particularly BIG presence, albeit he's a thick boy. His body type is a little "soft" for what i like in WR. He doesn't have the best injury history. He just aint my cup of tea. I think he fits a specific role in a specific type of offense. Yeah i get it, im crazy, im an idiot blah blah blah. We'll see. Time will tell. |
Is he Hill? No I don't think I've ever seen a Hill in the league before.
But Deebo is awesome. C'mon now. |

People seem to forget, or simply refuse to acknowledge that Shanahan is one of the most creative, if not THE most creative offensive mind in the league right now. People like to credit McVeigh and so forth, but seem to forget that McVeigh is a Shanahan coaching tree guy and runs a lot of Shanahan's scheme. I'm of the opinion that Shanahan can replace Deebo the way his daddy use to replace RB's. |
I thought that highest paid non-QB narrative was false?

Trading down with one of our firsts doesn't seem like a bad idea. It'll be interesting. This is a draft that will make or break us for the next four years.

****Official 2022 Free Agency Megathread****
Daniel Jeremiah & Bucky Brooks just went pick 29, 30, 50 & 62.
29: Boye Mafe 30. Daxton Hill 50. Coby Bryant 62. Alex Wright Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

****ing yuck. |
Bucky Brooks isn't great at the draft game...Jeremiah usually isn't bad so that's gonna be hit or miss in my view.

203 (pick 29) +115 (pick 50) = 318 points Pick 14 is worth 325 Pick 15 is worth 315 84 (62) + 196 (30) = 280 points Pick 19 is worth 278 points. ————- So we can move up to pick 14th and 19th if we don’t care about drafting in the second….I’d rather do that than draft Bryant and Wright…but those second rounders are solid gold this year. |

**** it….send them 30 and a 3rd next year for Allen and Shenault. Go DB at 29. |
I actually think they’re going to make a minor trade up for a guy like Karlaftis, and then either stay out at 30 or trade down.
I don’t get the sense that they’re making a huge trade or trade up. |
It definitely won’t be a boring draft. That’s for sure.
