We also won't have to worry about being pelted by a variety of debris whenever a ref blows his whistle in Boulder. |

Very difficult to get accepted to a program. Finishing requires MUCH dedication, and therein lies the difficulty. Getting in the door, however, can be a trick. |

One does not need to be perceived as a genius to get a doctorate, only be able to pass the exams and enter a school, and complete the program. This says nothing of your people skills, "street smarts" or perceived intelligence. |

Alden states the $20 million in penalties that NU & CU pay will be split evenly among the 10 universities.

IMO, since this is "all about football" then why not have a placing system for the revenue tiers.
If you finish 1st you get 25Million. If you finish 2-3 you get $20 million. 4-5-6 get 17 million. 7-10 get 14 million. Make it be based on merit. |
Because we don't want Iowa State taking all the money.

I saw someone on tigerboard say that Alden (or one of them) mentioned the possibility of a Mizzou Network. Can anyone verify?

So, if today's rumors are true. We get double the TV revenue, Nebraska buys us a practice facility, and we still get to make Texas our bitch? Double awesome.

NU/CU pay $20 million to the conference which will be split evenly among the 10 universities = $2 million per school. TV revenue goes up dramatically since NU/CU essentially brought nothing to the table therefore everyone gets a bigger piece of the pie. We play a more balanced schedule which equates to more exposure for the conference due to the extra week of conference games. It sounded almost too good to be true. :) |
I thought no schools in the Big12 north were getting any money from Nebraska or Colorado.. just Texas, OU, and aTm?
