Iowa State has two Four Star recievers and another guy who easily should have been. So why couldn't Kansas get them? I mean we have better facilities and a stadium and what not, but location is somewhat similar.

Well they are a freshman and sophomore both starting their first year. The other was arguably our best player but got hurt for the year the first game. Could easily be in a bowl game now that they are healthy and experienced and the second year in Manginos offense.

I mean, I really don't expect this guy to be able to prove anything next year. Unlike most people, I like being patient with a coach. Give him a chance to get his guys into the program. Not saying he is a great hire, but at this point, a shot in the dark doesn't hurt.

Riley had a very limited ceiling at OSU for several reasons. In contrast, you just hired a POSITION COACH for your HC vacancy. He's spent most of his career at the high school level. With college teams, he's been a position coach save 2 seasons (one as co-OC). Not quite the 15 year HC history of our guy.

We have a great program with history, money, and facilities. We know it. We will never be in absolute shambles like your program. Hiring a guy to recruit and coach up your WR's won't help.

I'm starting to think it's a gimmick of his. It's just too convenient.
