Oklahoma is a road game.

But that's a 10-2 type schedule with playoff possibilities if they can get QB position figured out.

Trying to remain optimistic about the QB position. Moss would be ideal, Mendoza I could probably talk myself into, Browne not so much.

If he schedules more visits after he leaves Louisville (believe he was there yesterday and is there today before heading home), that's not a great sign.

Sounds like everything went as well the 2 days he was at Mizzou as it could have gone.

The portal is crazier than ever. Arkansas, Mississippi State, and Florida State are seeing massive numbers of players hit the portal.

As of Wednesday evening, Arkansas has 25 outgoing players in the portal, per 247Sports.

Mississippi State has 23 players, including quarterback Michael Van Buren Jr., who started eight games in 2024.

Another Power 4 school with a lot of transfers is UCF, which has seen 22 players enter since Gus Malzahn moved on to Florida State and Scott Frost returned as head coach.

Is Horn an afterthought at this point? I honestly just don't know much about his injury rehab as well as what the coaches think of him or how they project him moving fwd. I do know he got a short leash before the injury and maybe they saw enough to know he's not their guy?

Because I have to imagine if we're convincing someone like Moss to come here that it comes with the assurance that the offense belongs to him, right?

Because of the new 105 roster limit

Tommy John recovery is different for football QBs than a pitcher, but he is both of those things. I'm not sure what his timeline looks like or whether he would be available for Spring Ball.

I don't think he's an afterthought, but he's also not something to pin your hopes/program's fate on. He'll get to compete with whoever they bring in.

Moss visited Mizzou, first, and it went well, too. Get those two things locked up (sounds positive with Coleman), and the passing game has the trigger man and the weapons to be effective.

2 crystal balls on 247 saying Coleman to Mizzou now.

I was reading that he was a "no contact" or whatever and it was always gonna be Nebraska, so your scummy ass school was probably tampering with him and had something worked out from the get go.

Talked to a well connected person in Missouri politics last night. He said Mizzou had 2 big recruits locked up, just waiting to announce. One is getting Burdens old house in CoMo along with brand new car for sure. Couldn't remember the names.
