There were rumors this year that Hunt gets a lot of advice from fellow suits, and that this was a huge reason for the misdirection of the franchise, so I could buy the above bold as true.

Pioli has screwed up for sure. Naming Haley as HC was a FAIL.

But, the Chiefs never spend up to the salary cap and thats on Clark Hunt. The Chiefs didnt spend up the cap with Peterson and they dont with Pioli either.

The Hunts care about making money first.

Scott Pioli spent almost $100M of Clark Hunt's money on Matt Cassel and Tyson Jackson.

And by the way, the Chiefs are like 9th in the NFL in cash spending.

Pioli is just a piss poor talent evaluator.
