Seems like this is aimed squarely at Chase Young. He has a ton of talent but his motor is very inconsistent and he quit on a couple plays in the lions game.

Get an early lead and watch him give up again.

Guys with nonstop motors like Karlaftis can’t be created, they’re born that way.

When do the Chiefs land in Vegas?

Sofa King 02-04-2024 12:45 PM

**** I hope we win this. Constantly go back and think of the "what ifs" on other seasons. It's much more fun to think of the "what happened" seasons.

Bosa is such a chud. Here he is to Mitch Schwartz after Mahomes' second INT:

How'd that end up Nick? Oh yeah.

I’m a sucker for Super Bowl field designs.

Any preview on what Super Bowl 58’s field looks like yet?

DRM08 02-04-2024 01:39 PM

Another distraction for the team right before a Super Bowl. Last time it was Andy Reid’s son with a drunk driving incident. This time it is Patrick Mahomes’ father with a drunk driving incident. I hope Mahomes will be able to play a focused game. It is very frustrating that his family cannot seem to behave themselves.

I haven't seen anything yet but if you like fields (and uniforms) and aren't familiar with this site...he'll have everything posted here when it's released.

Dirty little secret about Deebo is he is very soft. Injured all the time with the type of injuries that you should be able to play through IF you are "football tough". Which he is NOT. If I am Spags I'm telling my LBs and DBs hit and tackle this guy XTRA HARD.;)

Yes this is very unfortunate BUT the silver lining on this is that Pat has been living with this as an ACOA (Adult child of an alcoholic) for a long time and also from his childhood as well, not to mention his "drama queen train wreck younger brother". He is used to chaos and the way children of alcoholics cope and into adulthood are one of two paths. Either they "compartmentalize" as a survival skill both mentally and emotionally or they become "drunks/drug addicts" themselves.

Because Pat is firstborn he is naturally "the responsible one" who has chosen to "compartmentalize" meaning he has learned to block out all "negative thoughts and emotions" about his Dad's issue during crucial times in order to function and most of the time function at a very high level to compensate and medicate himself mentally and emotionally. He has been doing this all of his life and is very used to this but that being said, on a grand stand public level(SB LVIII) poses another challenge BUT Pat will adapt(mentally and emotionally)as he always has for what is needed I assure you. I am not worried in the least about his upcoming performance.

What I am worried for is his mental and emotional health afterwards in that the downside of compartmentalizing is IF he does not have a safety valve outlet for his mental and emotional relief thus stuffing and owning others feelings and feeling responsible for their happiness which is a very "real thing" that is just ABSOLUTELY TOXIC in the long term. You hope that Pat and his mom are not 'enablers' that feel responsible for everything SR. and young brother throw at their family. Guess what EVEN the Mahomes family have problems just like all the rest of us regardless of fame and fortune.

When we say that SF's defense is bad, what can we compare it to? Are they worse than the BUF defense? I don't believe that. The SF DL is more than likely better than BUF's. And their LBs are definitely better than the group we faced in BUF, right?

So when we say "they have a bad defense," what we're really saying is that they have a bad secondary and they haven't been good vs. the run, right? Or am I missing something?

Because if that's the cas, then this isn't going to be as easy as some are making it seem. Our offense isn't going to run roughshod over that defense, if they're better than the Bills defense, and I don't see how they could be worse.

If Mahomes is on (like he’s been) and we don’t shoot ourselves with drops/turnovers, we’ll put up 27 on the 49ers.

With our defense, that should be plenty.

Did not feel confident in SB54 and I thought I was going to be accurate in that assessment until 6:37 to go and then Chip Jet Wasp !!!:D

However, I feel much more confident this time around because we have a much better defense even with Omenihu out and our offense has found it's rhythm and it seems MVS is the offensive version of Frank Clark soooooooooo.......:D

This time at least a child wasn't injured for life due to a reckless decision. Jesus Christ.
