You know how we get abused by RB's cause our LB's are slow? I know a guy that could fix it.

He'd cost a lot though.

Gimme Jamal Adams and LeVeon Bell and I'd give you a 3rd rounder; Bell hinders the value of Adams at least that much. You could then trade Mathieu in the off-season the recapture the pick compensation and the cost of Adams/Bell and the dead money on Mathieu's deal (which we'll need to absorb at some point anyway) is a little higher over the next 2 seasons than Mathieu's $16 million/yr+ cap hit, but not substantially so.

I'd listen at that point. Adams is a better player than Mathieu, Bell is an upgrade if his cost is nominal.

But the Jets would never do it.

Obviously a MLB or DT is a HUGE need, butr wouldnt a stellar RB help protect our QB? I mean, we need a running game something fierce

Trubisky is cheap suck. Dalton is expensive suck.

I'd stay with the cheap suck.

Because the Bengals, being the Bengals, sat ass for 8 weeks instead of knowing full well that this was inevitable and working a market for him over the last 2 months.

There are several moving parts when trying to acquire a QB.

There you go.

I'd keep Mathieu, I like him, but wouldn't be opposed to it.

8 mil for this year then he's a FA?

The Texans completely ****ed the market.

I think that’s why you won’t see many trades today.

Unless you're Denver and want to take on unnecessary salary hinderances ie Pull a Flacco.

True, but we've already seen quite a few deals go down.

I think there may be a few little deals for mid tier depth or something but I doubt big guys get moved.

Usually the "we're fielding calls for certain player" translates to, "someone call us about this guy".

Would take a first for him i'd imagine.

He got a lot of guaranteed money from the Jets, so he got paid. Maybe he would like to not play for a loser after living that life in 2019.

If the Jets cut him, they'll have paid that dude $23.5 million for one season of extremely mediocre and ultimately irrelevant play.

That's just unbelievable. NEVER underestimate the value of stupidity in this league.

Our Safeties are good but oh boy I would cum for days if we got Adams. He could be used in the Sorenson role or you could move HB to the Sorenson role

big nasty kcnut 10-29-2019 11:41 AM

I hate trade deadlines.

ARROW2 10-29-2019 11:44 AM

All these people against Bell are the same ones saying we need to run the ball more to protect Mahomes.
