One source told me that Ed Warriner has accepted the #KUfball job.

So, which source is correct?

BTW, all BS aside, I think this is a pretty damned good hire. Solid Texas bloodlines, Kansas ties, HC gig was the next most logical step. You could do far worse then David Beatty.

I hope you are right about this. I'm tired of the bad hires.

We'll see...

Looks like it's Beaty. I'm fine with it. Great recruiting ties, and KU needs an infusion of good talent. When Beaty was here, we had a pretty solid stable of receivers.

OK. I laughed at the 400 lb bit. That's funny.

Buehler445 12-05-2014 12:41 PM

I'm actually surprised he'd take the job. On paper, at least.

I have no idea what system he's going to run or anything, but it's optomistic that they're focusing on recruiting. He has got to know what he's getting into.

Also nice to see they're not going after "names". Hopefully he has a reasonable salary and earns a big contact.

You just worry about competing with Minnesota

Don Corlemahomes 12-05-2014 01:20 PM

I'm sorry, but no recruit north of 3 stars will want to go to KU unless this guy has a contingent of cheerleaders dishing out free blowjobs.
